This table marks my first explorations into metalwork, focusing on texturing and patterning metal surfaces. The texture is created by repeated individual welds applied to the underside of the sheet metal, which was first air-hammered into mirrored bowl forms designed as catchalls. This piece is intended for use in communal spaces such as living rooms or mudrooms.
