Tri-Level Step Stool

Made with red oak donated by Marsh Billings National
Historical Park, finished with Odie's Oil

18” D x 18” W x 18” H

Spring 2024

The Tri-Level Step Stool is a multifunctional piece of furniture that serves as both a tool for reaching higher spaces, as well as a storage solution when not in use. Its three levels provide varied surfaces for stepping, as well as platforms for everyday objects. Inspired by the fluid, continuous forms of ribbons and fabric, this design reimagines the traditional step stool, creating subtle connections between its linear levels.
